ZEAL MAKES TWO SENIOR ROLE CHANGES

Following the launch of its first national lottery in Norway, a major uplift in new customers in 2017, and its most successful new lottery betting product launch to date, ZEAL Group has announced two senior role changes as it further drives operational excellence in pursuit of its vision.

Susan Standiford’s role is evolving from Chief Technology Officer to Chief Operating Officer. Adding to her leadership of ZEAL’s technology function, Susan will also lead the Group’s HR function and be General Manager for its Lottovate brand.

James Oakes’ role will broaden from Director of ZEAL Investments to Corporate Development Director. As well as being responsible for the Group’s external investments and M&A, in his new role he will also nurture internal incubation projects. Additionally, he will lead on strategy development and new business opportunities.

ZEAL Chief Executive, Dr Helmut Becker, said: “We made good progress towards our vision in 2017, and we don’t intend to stop there. We have lots more exciting things happening in 2018. Susan and James’ role changes are a natural next step as we revolutionize the sector on our way to creating a better world of lottery.”
